Sweet carrots are so tasty, easy to make, and make a great side dish.
Ingredients: 1 kilo of carrots, 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey.
preparation:: carrots are washed well, peeled and cut into julienne strips or slices depending on what you prefer, I particularly like them more julienned. They are placed in a pot with the sugar and they are put to cook on very low heat until they are tender and the liquid that they are thrown when cooking them is almost completely evaporated. Finally the two tablespoons of honey are added to them and they are removed from the heat and they are ready to serve.
