Spinach and fig salad recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups baby spinach ready to eat
  • two cups quartered figs
  • 1 cup of mascarpone cheese made into small balls
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts toasted and chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 star anise
  • The juice of 1 orange
  • 4 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of ground oregano

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, mix the salad ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. On the other hand, in a small pot, mix the honey, anise and orange juice.
  3. Heat until it is about to boil.
  4. Turn off the heat, cover and allow it to infuse for 15 minutes. Reservation.
  5. Add all the ingredients to a jar with a tight lid and shake vigorously until the ingredients are fully integrated.
  6. Finally, bathe the salad with a little orange honey and balsamic dressing.
