We are going to put boil the pasta in salted water for the time recommended by the manufacturer so that they remain “al dente”, that is to say slightly firm. We drain and reserve them. Now we chop the onion as well as the tomato. We fry the onion for about 3 minutes to which we add the tomato. Leave on the fire, at medium intensity, for about 5 more minutes.
In the meantime we devein the pepper and cut it, also in squares, which we add to the previous ingredients. We drain the tuna and add it to the pan. Stir and season with thyme, salt and black pepper to taste. We add the cream. Leave on the fire, now at low intensity, for about 10 minutes and then integrate the pasta. We stir, adjust the seasoning and leave for another 5 to 8 minutes. We spread the grated cheese just before serving so that it melts.

With what to accompany the pasta with tuna and vegetables
I recommend you serve these delicious pasta with tuna and vegetables hot. If you prefer, you can also eat them cold just like a salad. In this case, I would recommend adding a splash of olive oil and that’s it. You can taste them with an amber beer or a light red wine.
