Benefits of tangerine peel
According to studies by the US Department of Agriculture and Canada, mandarin peel has incredible cholesterol-lowering properties.
This is because the peel contains 20 times more antioxidants than the juice and that these have the ability to neutralize the oxidative damage that occurs in human tissue and from which premature aging and also cancer derives.
Not only that: researchers from the University of Punjam, in India, revealed that this peel contains Q40 salvestrol, a substance that could work as an anticancer.
But these antioxidants not only support the body to avoid diseases: they are also good for falling asleep, avoiding problems of insomnia and stress.
