Rosemary is a great ally of hair, as it takes care of its health, helps it grow stronger and also shinier.

As we have mentioned, this is usually a very popular ingredient in both shampoo and conditioner, as it benefits hair health, stimulating hair growth.

Another of its great properties is that it darkens the hair and, therefore, helps to tone gray hair, causing them to fade.

Of course, to have a good result, its use must be constant, as it does not have immediate effects.

How to make a rosemary dye for gray hair

There are 3 very simple ways to use rosemary to tone gray hair, and you only need rosemary oil or fresh rosemary branches:

  1. In your shampoo: add 10 drops of rosemary oil to your shampoo (it must be full) and use it daily.
  2. Do it directly: apply the rosemary oil on the scalp and massage for 15 minutes on the entire head (so that the hue of the color is even).
  3. As an infusion: pour 1 liter of water into a pot, when it is boiling, add 7 branches of rosemary. Lower the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. Later, apply to the hair with massages. Wait 20 minutes for it to set and rinse with cold water.
