- Remove the stem from the leaves: The stems of spinach are often very fibrous and can cause a kind of cramp in the teeth, a sensation that nobody likes and one of the main reasons why they avoid eating this vegetable. Avoid this unpleasant sensation by removing the stem, even without it it will be easier for you to wash them.
- Rinse the spinach: This is an act that must always be done, wash one by one of the leaves in a small stream of water in order to remove as much soil as you can; it does not necessarily have to be all.
- Put them in a container: Take a container where the spinach will fit well, fill it with enough water so that the spinach can float.
- Disinfectant: add a little bleach or disinfectant, an approximate of three drops will be enough.

Follow this technique to disinfect
- Stir: With your hands or a scoop, mix the disinfectant well with the water and bleach and let them rest for approximately 5 minutes, this will make the remaining soil fall off completely.
