To flavor culinary preparations, whether sweet or savory, coffee essence is ideal. Coffee in our recipes finds its place as a main or secondary ingredient, but its aroma never goes unnoticed.
250 grams of good quality coffee beans, 2.5 dl of water.
Grind the coffee very fine and divide it into two equal parts. Put the water on the fire in a saucepan, when it is about to boil add half the coffee, set aside and cover the saucepan.
Let the coffee infusion rest until it is completely cold.
Filter the infusion. On the other hand, prepare a filter coffee maker using the other half of the coffee that you set aside. Instead of filling the tank with water, do it with the infusion that you prepared before.
The result will be an extra strong coffee, that is our coffee essence. Finally, you can store the essence in an airtight jar and in the fridge.
Easy to prepare and easier to use in our dishes to give them a rich and original touch.
