I can assure you that mustard is one of my favorite sauces. Accompanying a meat or a fish and despite its peculiar flavor, it enhances the taste of them, but perhaps in the market there is poor quality mustards except a few brands, so nothing better than trying prepare homemade mustard myself to realize how simple it is and how good it is.
The composition of this homemade mustard has a few ingredients that, generally, those who like to add spices to their kitchen usually have in the pantry. If you have to do with any of them, do not care, because they are usually once opened long-lasting, so surely you can give them output for several repetitions of this recipe or other preparations.
We will start by adding the mustard seeds in a glass bowl, pour over the vinegar, white wine, maple syrup, turmeric and salt. We cover with a film and let it marinate for three days in the fridge.
Once the time has passed, we add the Perrins sauce and we grind everything well with a blade mixer or a food processor. We go to an airtight jar and keep in the refrigerator.
With what to accompany the homemade mustard
Homemade mustard will fill all your dishes with flavor. Once opened, keep it for a maximum of two months in the refrigeratorAlthough if you are habitual of this sauce and preparing it in small quantities, I doubt that it will last so long in the fridge because it is exquisite. It also makes a nice gourmet self-made gift for any friend. There are many recipes in which we can use it.
