Tips to eat healthy in summer

  • Hydrate yourself: although it is important all year round, in a special way we must be hydrated during the summer due to the high temperatures. This way we will avoid health problems, such as vomiting and diarrhea.
  • Be careful with caloric drinks: it is better to avoid soft drinks and alcoholic beverages as much as possible. At the very least, decrease your consumption.
  • Moderate your meat consumption: in this season the consumption of fish is more advisable than red meat. Try to consume it, by a lot, 1 or 2 times a week.
  • Make simple meals: the less laborious your recipes are, the more likely you are to take care of yourself: try to eat raw vegetables, for example.
  • Limit the consumption of fats: these can affect the digestive system and the urinary tract, increasing the possibility of an infection.
  • Follow the Mediterranean diet: it is one of the most recommended diets for the summer season, as well as helping to protect your heart.
  • Measure yourself with ice cream: we know that summer without ice cream is not the same. And it is for this very reason that we tell you, so that you do not fall into an excess. Ice cream is one of the foods that accumulates the most fat in the abdomen (how sad 🙁).
  • Exercise more: in summer, we regularly have more time. Get organized to do daily routines and feel great.
  • Avoid “storing” meals and food: in summer it is easier for food to spoil, even if they are in the fridge. If you prepare something, only make the necessary portions and when you go to the supermarket, only buy what you are going to use in the next few days.
