Fashion Politics: Fashionable First Ladies 2
When you get into politics, people look up to you. They observe how you behave in public, how you talk, how you go about your relationships and your work, and even how you dress.
I don’t know if fashion should really matter in politics as I am no expert in assessing public approval on public image. However, I do know that a lot of people are impressed when they see fashionable politicians – for as long as they do not overspend money from people’s taxes. Anyhow, I’m not here to talk about corruption so let’s dwell more on fashion. Apparently, Michelle Obama is not just the only first lady who has an exemplary taste in fashion. Here are among the prettiest and most fashionable first ladies from around the globe…

Queen Rania Al-Abdullah
The ‘first lady’ of Jordan really looks and dresses like a modern-day queen. She married Prince Abdullah in 1993 and she was No. 53 on the Forbes list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. Aside from being notably gorgeous and stylish, Queen Rania has been known for her efforts in promoting the empowerment of Jordan’s women and children.

Asma Al Saad
The first lady of Syria possesses a lavish liking for signature brands and she has been dubbed as both an ‘All Natural Beauty’ and ‘A Rose in the Desert’. The sad fact however, is that her public image has been tainted by her reported extravagant spending.

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy
My list would certainly be incomplete without the first lady of France. She is an Italo-French songwriter, singer, and former model who have had her nude photos posted on the Internet (that’s not a commendable thing though). She’s basically known worldwide as the hottest political woman.
Now since I have listed these listed here, I should probably include a few photos of the fashionable Mrs. O so here you go…

And, since we’ve got the upcoming US Presidential Election, let me also give you a glimpse of the fashion styles of the ‘could-be’ first lady (or lady president).

We’ve got Incumbent President Barack Obama from the Democratic Party who’s got the lovely Mrs. Michelle O (VP Candidate is Joe Biden). Then there’s Ann Romney, spouse of Republican’s bet – Mitt Romney (VP Candidate is Paul Ryan). Both are the strongest contenders for the position, I think. Then there’s Kate Prusack, domestic partner of candidate Gary Johnson for the Libertarian party (VP is James P. Gray), and lastly, there is Jill Stein of the Green Party (VP Candidate is Cheri Honkala).
If there was a poll for the trendiest would-be US first lady, then I bet Mrs. O or Anne Romney would win. They both wear classier and trendier clothes as compared to Kate Prusack and Candidate Jill Stein, right? It also seems that the guys with the fashionista wives are ahead of the others in the US polls and surveys; aren’t they? Speaking of bets, you might want to check and make bets on the presidential race at bookies like Ladbrokes. I find it amusing that they are even taking wagers on the presidential race.
